Today, I am proud to announce my candidacy for Golden City Council. I’m not just running to fill a seat; I’m running to introduce a new and better process for how our city is governed.

This election presents a fundamental choice. For too long, Golden has been managed with a “handyman” approach—reactive, making costly decisions without a clear plan, and without your input. The $80 million “Heart of Golden” project, pushed forward without a direct public vote, is the ultimate proof of this broken model.

I believe Golden deserves an Architect. A leader who respects you, the client. A leader whose process is clear, professional, and transparent: 1. Consult with the community first, 2. Draft detailed blueprints based on those conversations, and 3. Seek your final approval on the plan and the budget before any work begins.

This is the standard of leadership I am offering. My entire professional career has been a deliberate journey to build the “360-degree view” necessary to be that Architect. As an attorney, a financial professional (MBA), and a state regulator, I have the unique combination of skills and experience to create the detailed, viable plans our city deserves.
